Create a draft
- Open Articles and choose Create Articles.
- Write the title at the top of the editor. The title is what appears in the article list and on the public page.
- Write the body in the editor. You can add headings, lists, quotes, links, and images.
- Fill in the Details tab: summary, category, hub, read time, and cover image.
- Add Tags and, if you need them, the SEO fields in the Meta tab.
- Choose Save as draft to keep working, or Submit for review when the draft is ready.
The form is split into four tabs: Content, Details, Tags, and Meta. You can move between them at any time; nothing is lost when you switch.
Details that affect where the article appears
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Category | Groups the article on the public site and in filters. Each article belongs to one category. |
| Hub | The column or team pipeline the article belongs to. Required for published articles. |
| Summary | Used on article cards and as a fallback for the meta description. Around 150 to 300 characters works best. |
| Cover image | The image shown on cards, social previews, and the top of the article. |
| Read time | Displayed on the public article page. |
Autosave and version history
- Narranta autosaves while you write. If the browser closes unexpectedly, the next visit offers to restore the saved draft.
- Version history keeps earlier snapshots of the article so you can compare or restore one.
- Autosave is a safety net, not a publish action. Nothing reaches the public site until the article is published.
Work with co-authors
If you can manage collaborators, open the Editorial collaborators panel at the top of the editor and add co-authors. The main author keeps ownership; co-authors can work on the draft according to their permissions.
SEO fields
- Meta title replaces the article title in search results and social previews.
- Meta description is the snippet shown by search engines. 120 to 160 characters is a good target.
- Meta keywords is optional and comma-separated.
- URL slug is generated from the title. Only workspace admins can change it, and published articles keep their slug when the title is edited so existing links never break.
Note: If you cannot see an action such as Submit for review or the slug field, your role does not include that permission. See Invite your team and set permissions.
