Publish immediately
- Open the article and make sure it has a title, body, category, hub, cover image, and tags.
- Leave the Schedule Publish Date & Time field empty.
- Set the article state to Published.
Narranta records the current time as the publish date, and the article appears on your public site.
Schedule ahead
- Open the Details tab.
- Set Schedule Publish Date & Time to the moment the article should go live.
- Set the state to Published and save.
The article is treated as published but stays out of public listings until that date and time has passed. You can change the date later without republishing.
Use the calendar
Calendar shows a month view of articles by publishing date. The legend separates articles in review from articles that are published or scheduled.
- Select a day or an article to see its details.
- Open an article and choose the reschedule action to pick a new publishing date.
- Rescheduling updates the publish date; it does not change the article content or its state.
Article URLs
Published articles live at {subdomain}.narranta.com/articles/{slug},
or at the equivalent path on your custom domain.
- The slug is generated from the title when the article is created.
- Once an article has been published, editing the title does not change its slug, so existing links keep working.
- Admins can change a slug on purpose. When they do, the previous URL redirects permanently to the new one.
- If a custom domain or hosting path changes, update the Domain settings so the sitemap and canonical URLs point to the right address.
Export an article
The read-only article viewer can export the current article. The available formats are PDF, Markdown, and XML. Exports use the article title as the file name.
Take an article down
- Withdraw removes it from the publishing flow without deleting it.
- Move to trash removes it from the public site, sitemap, and feeds, and frees the plan slot.
- Moving an article to the trash does not change its state; it changes its folder.
Tip: If an article does not appear publicly, check three things: the state is Published, the publish date has passed, and the folder is not Trash.
